On July 24, Canadian indie rock band Wolf Parade announced plans to tour North America this fall. The group is hitting the road in support of their forthcoming album Cry Cry Cry. The group’s upcoming tour dates will take them to venues in New Orleans, Dallas, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago and Boston’s fantastic Royale nightclub. Tickets for the Cry Cry Cry tour go on sale July 28.

In what will be wonderful news for alternative music fans, Wolf Parade will perform several of their September date alongside Arcade Fire. The following month, the band will be supported by Brooklyn-based power pop superstars Charly Bliss.

Formed in 2003, Wolf Parade produced some of the best music to come out of the 21st-century post-punk revival. However, the band broke millions of hearts by announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2011, one year after releasing their best album, Expo 86. Thankfully, the band decided to get back in the game last year with a received reunion tour and will release their hotly-anticipated fourth album Cry Cry Cry on Oct. 6.
